About a month ago I tried to access www.ceracera.com, as I usually do every month or so, just to see if there was any progress of any kind, and received a message that the site was down. It sometimes happens for sites, so I did not give it much thought. I just tried to access the site again, and received "403 Forbidden - You don't have permission to access / on this server". Could it be that Cera Cera is no more? I hope not. Anyone have any other info?
Smelter, I checked the Way Back Machine (Internet Archive), and that last entry you mentioned was, unfortunately, an older version of their site, so you will miss out on some of their entries. They had a good number of printed and downloadable automata models, so they will be missed.
I'm sorry to hear Cera Cera is no more. Even though they were plagued with errors at first, I enjoyed building their models. I do wish they would of have kept the projects downloadable. I would of bought more of the later ones. What I liked most about Cera Cera was the uniqueness of their models. And in building them learning new ways of animating objects.

Does anyone have old Cera Cera files they are willing to share? They were offered free once, right?
No, they were not free. I bought them all - even the not downloadable ones - and enjoyed very much building them.
But again - they were not free, so there certainly is an ACTA issue here (phew).

Ok. Bummer. I find a lot of formerly free stuff in blogs and the links are gone. Paperpino made a beautiful flying dove over the earth, but that one's not on his site anymore. Just thought this was the same thing. Thanks for clarifying.
I would like to share my downloadable CeraCera models. As they are not selling anymore I think I'm not breaking any law, especially because I'd like to offer them free...I don't know how to offer them, maybe uploading them in a special homepage, like rapidshare. Any idea? Just one think: I had the kick boy model, but a technician came home to repair my pc and erased it. I would like to have it again. If anyone, kind enough, could share the file free, too, I would be very grateful. I will be waiting suggestions about the files.
Hugo,
I would like to see the CeraCera models back again as well - the few I have I like very much.
I think that the fact that they don't sell them anymore does to solve the copyright issue - but there might be other people out there who know more and are willing to comment on this.

Hello Hugo,
That is very kind of you - please send me models and instructions at urmish12@yahoo.com
Thank you
I'd be happier if you had Ren's permission for this...
How can I get the permission to share for free? I don't know, Rob. I've tried unsucessfully to get in contact with CeraCera owners...Do you think is there any problem share free these files? If you consider illegal I won't share it. I just want to give the members a gift that I bought and I'm not trading them. I don't think this is illegal, but what do you think?
Hello Hugo,
Thanks for your kind consideration - however, I would prefer them the right way. My son wanted those files and sent you email requesting them.
i was doing an internet search looking for the cera cera models the only one i was able to find was one for a model called summer just thought i would post the link in here for anyone intrested
