Although ratchets are mentioned as one of automata mechanisms I"ve hardly seen one automaton made with this mechanism. Does anybody know an automata toy (paper or not) made with this mechanism? I would like to know, really.

Thanks, Max for pointing me the link. It IS what I'm reffering to. I discovery that the model Counting Sheep from Rob Ives also uses a Ratchet. It's nice and kind from you showing the links. Thanks again.
