Paper Springs MkIIIa
This project comes in two versions. The print version contains a pdf for you to print out onto thin card then cut out with scissors. The cutting machine version comes with the same pdf and also includes files ready for Silhouette Cameo 3 as well as svg and jpg files. This project is suitable to print and cut on most popular paper cutting machines.

Print out the pages onto thin card.
If you are making the hand cut version, score the dashed lines then carefully cut out the pieces.
Compression Spring
Squeeze to operate this spring. In this mkIII version I’ve concentrated on making the design as simple as possible. The spring is short so that is will fit inside models and it can be constructed without the need for sharp knives.
Fold over the hooks and glue them to make double thickness card.
Fold round and glue the inner and outer bodies then glue the hooks to the marked areas. On the inner slide you can glue the hook on either side depending on in you want the end tabs on the same side or opposite side.
