I'm adapting the Vertical Pendulum mechanism to make a giraffe head bob up and down.

To see how it looks, and to check if it works, I've attached this giragge head to the original mechanism. 

There are three hanging points on the original mechanism. I've recreated them inside a tall box using triangle tubes of a card stretched across the inside.

Here it is with the rest of the mechanism transplanted into place.

Everything fits into place rather neatly!
