The mechanism from the last post fits nicely into the box and it works! Yay!

I've added cut away sides to the box because I think the mechanism itself is pretty and well worth looking at 🙂

From underneath the full link bars are clear. Some size will need to me modified slightly, I'll probably space the three cranks slightly further apart. Apart for that I'm pleased with how things are progressing.

And here it is in all its animated glory. This is a twelve frame animation rather than the usual eight frame. It does smooth the motion out but makes the file larger.

I now need to fit a boat to the top with rowing characters in place. I'm quite tempted by the idea of a 'Ship of Fools'… Not sure yet.
