I've made some progress on the Tortoise model today. The head and neck fit into a tube, I'm using a rocker in the base with an upright that locates in the neck to push it back and forth. This has required a lot of post-construction chopping. It has ended up rather untidy looking but the mechanism seems to work well. From this stage I can make measurements and make a few changes to the parts.

Next step, I'll be adding parts to the computer file and then printing out again and testing the Mk II version.
