First steps in designing a bird to go on the Tweety Bird Box.

In this model the beak opens and closes and the wings flutter whilst the bellow make suitable tweeting sounds. I’m aiming to make the beak move powered by the same cam that drives the bellows, that way they’ll be in sync. I’ll add another cam to drive the wings.

I’ve already added a the linkage that will drive the beak to this prototype.

Hopefully I’ll be able to fit the drive linkages up through the legs so that they are hidden from view.

Next step: the currect version of the bird is cut out freehand from card, I’ll be cutting it up, scanning it and transferring it to the computer
