You will need a cork, a few paper clips

…and a 10mm length of plastic tube. A bit of chuppa chop stick is perfect.

Straighten out two paperclips and make the two wing supports as shown. A cocktail stick is useful for wrapping around to make the circle part.

Shown here are the finished wing supports.

Wrap another paper clip around the plastic tube as shown to make the crank push rod.

Thread a paper clip through the plastic tube and make an 8mm high crank section as shown.

Thread the arm supports into place.

Glue the body halves together trapping the end of the push rod into place.

Fold over and glue down the wings to make double thickness paper then carefully cut them out.

Glue the tabs to the end of the wing stands.

Thread the crank into place in the wing stands.

Glue the tabs to the marked areas under the wings.

Shape the end of the crank to make a handle and cut off any excess wire.

Push the ends of the wing support into the cork as shown.

Turn the handle to see your Pretosaur fly!
